On this 6-Hour Pizza Lovers Tour, Sundays: we start with the oldest and most famous at Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana on Wooster Street for a plain tomato pie, mozz pie & white clam pie. After a healthy walk through Wooster Square & Downtown we land at Bar for a plain pie and a mozz pie plus their famous mashed potato bacon pie! Our long walk takes us through some of the most beautiful areas of New Haven including the renowned architecture of Yale University & Hillhouse Avenue to hit the rockstar place Modern Apizza on State Street for a plain pie, mozz pie & heavy hitter Italian Bomb pie! Our last leg is a stroll back over to Wooster Street for the legendary Sally's Apizza for you guesses it; a plain pie, mozz pie & then their unique potato & onion special pie. Note: Saturday tours start at Modern Apizza and instead of heading to Bar we end at the hopping wood-fired pizzeria, Next Door for a plain pie, mozz pie & a mouth watering mashed potato, bacon & onion pie.
Each pizzeria will serve a plain tomato pie with garlic, a mozzarella pie and then a specialty pizza. At the end we take a tally where you get to be judge of your favorite pizza! Get ready for a full day of pizza!
